Hello, welcome to my page :) . In C.D.T we have been given a task, this task is to do whatever we want but come out with something good in the end. We will be doing the task over a minimum of 12 weeks and we will have an hour a week to do our projects.
My Project
In movies if look at the 'making of' section you always find a picture or video slideshow showing all the different things that have happened during the movie. I have always been facinated on how they make this.So therefore for my project I have decided to do a video or picture slideshow showing the class doing their chosen thing.
But why?
There are more reasons. When I was in a video/camera shop with my family, I saw kids about my age learning to use cameras, and they all had smiles on their faces. I would really like to experience the camera skills and the fun(with a capital F). I also really enjoy using technology anywayand most of my oringinal ideas involved using technology.
Research
Daniel, there is so many different things you could do with this type of project. It may even turn into a series of smaller videos/slideshow/animations.
A few ideas to help you get started:
Start storyboarding HOW you would like your video to work out. E.g. How will it start? Who will it focus on? What will the style be.
At the start you could have a 'mugshot' of all of the people in the class with words stating their projects (only an idea though)

Week 1
We all started on our projects this week. I was just getting used to taking photos of everyone and using a camera.
Week 2
This week I did the same as last week I got used to the camera and got everyone else used to the camera.The skills that I learned this week were: problem solving, learning how to use all the features on the camera,independence, learning to do things on my own and visual skills, seeing good opportunities to take videos of. The things I need to do next week are get used to the video making software and get a mugshot of everybodys face
Week 3
This week I used the camera and took shots of everyone from low down showing them sawing and typing etc. Some skills I learned this week were helping others when I helped Sarene with sawing, confidence when taking all of my shots and working hard, getting a shot of everyone. Next week I would like to get more videos of people I haven't videoed us much.
Week 4
This week I got used to the editing site that I will put my finished slidshow on and took more shots of everyone(again!). Some skills I learned this week were problem solving, getting used to the sight and visual skills, finding good shots of everybody. Next week I need to make mini videos with the shots i've taken to get used to making videos.
